Support role with VB - Cambridge - £18-£22k+ p.a.
Our client require a support person for 1st and 2nd level help desk, with potential to move into .NET development. The successful candidate will have had two years of professional experience in any role after University, with strong desire to progress from support to programming in the medium term. Desired skills are SQL Server, Visual Basic or VB Script, Crystal Reports, remote desktop tools. The role will require providing 1st and 2nd level help desk support to the client`s customers; carrying out data conversions from a variety of sources into SQL Server; Writing VBScript to customise customer`s software; write reports for customers against SQL Server; and remotely install client`s software onto customers` systems using remote desktop tools.
